Local Author Bookfest and Presentation
If I sell but one book during a signing, it has been a success. My thanks to the many retailers who welcome me to a little corner of their businesses, such as Starbucks this past Saturday.
I invite lover of new stories to attend the following with me:

Independent Bookstore Day!!!
Come celebrate Independent Bookstore Day at your favorite independent bookstores, Weller Book Works and King's English!
What is Independent Bookstore Day?
Independent bookstores are not just stores, they’re community centers and local anchors run by passionate readers. They are entire universes of ideas that contain the possibility of real serendipity. They are lively performance spaces and quiet places where aimless perusal is a day well spent. This is a day to celebrate and support independent bookstores, to reacquaint ourselves with the integral part they play in the community, and to remind ourselves that worlds of magic still exist. Weller Book Works (607 Trolly Square, Salt Lake City, UT) and King's English are two of 400 stores participating nationwide.
Look at what's happening on Independent Bookstore Day!!!

SUPPORTERS ARE EVERYTHING TO AN AUTHOR
Thank you to our famous Utah Smith & Edwards for gifting me a book signing spot right by the front door near the gardening section on Saturday, April 18th. I met so many family, friends, and new friends with my novel, TOKEN WOMAN. . . Jennis, Matthew, Holly, Mckay, Michele, Terry, Michael to mention a few.
I would especially like to thank Mason Penpe from Richfield/Salina area who shared time with me about his own story to write someday. Do it, Mason! It is a story that needs to be shared.
On my way home I stopped in at a fellow League of Utah Writer's Group author, Johnny Worthen's new book launch at the Barnes and Noble in Sugar House. I bought his award winning novel, Eleanor. Now, to stop writing and get to reading it.

ANOTHER FULFILLING WEEKEND
I never dreamed that becoming a published author would united me with dear classmates from the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grades in Dayton, Idaho. Well, my book signing at the Preston Citizen gifted me this reunion with Ed Hobbs (who contacted me after seeing my name on my first novel) and Brent Winward (an author in his own right, 'Hilltop Hideaway' just one of his three novels) with his wife. I so enjoyed my radio interview with Allen at KACH.
My many, many, sincere thanks to family, friends, and new friends who visited with me at my book signing in HASTINGS, on 50 E. 400 N. Logan, UT. Such a humbling experience. Thanks, Jennie Christensen and Ali Snow for your radio interviews.
Dinner with our Thomas Family was the perfect ending to a great weekend (Jean, Bill and Ida, and Jerry).

READERS' REVIEW of TOKEN WOMAN
Thank you, 'Wisebird Bookery' for sponsoring my signing with TOKEN WOMAN last Saturday, March 28, 2015.
Reviewers write:
The book was thoughtful, engaging
and even inspirational. Good in depth development of each of the main
characters, and same for their interpersonal relationships. I related well to
the main character who grew up in a rural setting with little knowledge of the
world at large. It was easy to envision events in my own life as they unfolded
for the personalities in the book. The ending is very cool. Bonnie Glee is a
talented writer as many readers will no doubt discover.
Thank you so much.
Reviewers write:
A
middle-of-the-night phone call immediately drew me into the lives of four
friends separated by time and distance. As memories are triggered, and they
each reflect on their individual lives, I came to know the characters in the
book and empathized with their joys, heartbreaks and struggles.
Set
against the background of a rural Summer Theater, this book kept me very
interested as it dealt not only with the power of friendships, but also with
the growing awareness of AIDS and the gay community in the mid-1980s
5.0 out of 5 stars
Thank you so much.
