Hooray,
Look at the beautiful dandelions I found high in the colorful mountains of Soapstone Basin.
along with fall colored aspen, a beautiful sunset, and a trail this girl will never ATV again.
Come along with 'Dandelion Girl' through descriptive words and pictures along the many ATV trails in Utah.

WISH-DANDELIONS
As the weather cools this Dandelion Girl finds it harder and harder to find yellow dandelions,
but I love the wish-dandelions that still hang around.
There is nothing like campfires to breath life into my new novel.

GLORIOUS HIKE
Dandelion Girl and hubby Joe left the silver helmets home and took walking sticks on a 4 mile , 1400 foot elevation-gain hike above Brighton Ski Resort. The carved out sitting logs and flat granite rocks were perfect for long rests on the climb. Lake Mary, Lake Martha, and Lake Catherine (with mama moose and baby) were so worth every footstep.

MEMORABLE TIMES
Where would we be without a passion (mine is writing; thanks Jellyfish Press for hearing my 'pitch' and requesting my entire manuscript for consideration during the League of Utah Writer's Annual Conference), and family? I enjoyed both recently.

AUGUST 21st and 22nd
What a grand couple of days.
It all began with a text and picture of grandson Tyson's successful bow hunt:
Later that afternoon at the Crossley home we so enjoyed the backyard wedding of our grandson, Terryn and Sarah. There wasn't a dry eye in the crowd when he bent down to little Rowan, placed a locket around her neck and promised to always be here for her too.
The joy of the wedding was our entire conversation into Cache Valley (tried to find where we might see the deer, but no luck) to spend some quality time with sister Jean. She always provides a great hotel for us. Coffee and tea on her deck Saturday morning with much needed conversation was super.
We made a quick stop at HASTINGS after brunch at ANGIE's to check on my book sales. Success, only two left on the shelf. Thanks readers.
Then the TOPPER, was at Sky View High for Joe's 50th reunion. He even sang out loud to a 1965 era song during the program that longtime friend/classmate, Michael Bankhead, presented. The classmates he most wanted to see attended, so he had a great reunion.

Music of an Angel
Yesterday was a wonderful date-time in Cache Valley at our grand-daughter, Samantha's, Harp Concert in the famed Tabernacle. Thanks, Samantha for a perfect day, you play with heart and gentle hands. Proud papa, Jeff. Mama, Noelle, already gathering up the harp behind the scenes.
