LOCAL UTAH AUTHORS

Utah has many talented authors who will be gathered on Saturday, November 7, 2015 to share their talents and publications with you (each author will have their books to sell, Christmas is just around the corner and it is a wonderful time to give a book). Join us, I personally will be sharing with you my novels, Satin Murder and Token Woman.  Perhaps you will be the lucky winner of my novel, Token Woman, to be given away, along with several other door prizes. SO LONG MOUNTAINS

Dandelion Girl and hubby Joe did a final mountain trek for this season (even found some thriving dandelions along a dusty trail) . Peace and serenity among the pines, except for a few gun shots from deer hunters, for nearly eight days (our longest stay ever and we would have stayed longer if we had taken more food).

We love it when camp is pretty much put together and the first campfire is blazing.

What a breathtaking sight an early morning sunrise is (we never get up early enough to see a sunrise at home). Shame on us!!!

We were spellbound with the beauty of a morning mist that rolled in, and just as quickly burned off as we packed up for ride back to family, friends, and city-home.

FALL DANDELIONS

Hooray,
Look at the beautiful dandelions I found high in the colorful mountains of Soapstone Basin.

along with fall colored aspen, a beautiful sunset, and a trail this girl will never ATV again.

WISH-DANDELIONS

As the weather cools this Dandelion Girl finds it harder and harder to find yellow dandelions,

but I love the wish-dandelions that still hang around.

There is nothing like campfires to breath life into my new novel.

GLORIOUS HIKE

Dandelion Girl and hubby Joe left the silver helmets home and took walking sticks on a 4 mile , 1400 foot elevation-gain hike above Brighton Ski Resort. The carved out sitting logs and flat granite rocks were perfect for long rests on the climb. Lake Mary, Lake Martha, and Lake Catherine (with mama moose and baby) were so worth every footstep.
